Salt Lake City has some of the oldest and most varied housing in the state. The Avenues, the city's first neighborhood, was built starting in the 1880s and is full of Victorian homes and early Craftsman and Prairie bungalows. Sugar House, Liberty Wells, and Capitol Hill are lined with brick bungalows from the early 1900s. Then, often on the very same block, there is modern infill construction from the last few years. A contractor can run into a 1910 bungalow and a 2020 build a few doors apart, and they are not the same heating job. On top of that, the city's geography splits it. Homes up on the foothills and the upper Avenues can sit above the worst of the winter inversion, while most of the valley floor sits down in it. Where your home sits changes both the heating load and the air quality picture.
24/7 service with no after hours premium
A furnace that quits at 2 AM in January is an emergency, and we treat it as one at the same flat rate we charge at 2 PM in October. Our trucks carry the igniters, flame sensors, gas valves, blower motors, and control boards most common to the furnaces installed across Ogden’s older neighborhoods.
We know old Salt Lake housing.
A Victorian in the Avenues or a 1915 Sugar House bungalow was not built around a central heating system. The furnace and ducts were added and changed over a century, and that history drives how we size and route a replacement. We work with the home that is actually there.
We size for the home, not the square footage.
A home built before 1920 with original walls, tall ceilings, and added on rooms has a very different load from a tightly built modern infill house next door. We measure rather than assume.

We respect you, we respect your time. If we're late to a confirmed appointment, you don't pay.
We cover Salt Lake City, including the Avenues and upper Avenues, Capitol Hill and Marmalade, Sugar House, Liberty Wells and the Liberty Park area, the East Bench and Federal Heights, and the newer infill throughout the city's older grid. Whether your home is a Victorian from the 1880s or a build from last year, we service it
Yes. Old Salt Lake homes are routine work for us. The age is not the problem, the original ductwork, the lack of insulation, and decades of patchwork changes are what we plan around. We assess the whole system and tell you straight what it takes to make an old house genuinely comfortable, instead of just dropping in a new furnace.
Yes. Salt Lake City, about 35 miles south, is part of our service area. There is no extra trip charge and no after hours premium, and the flat written quote is the same as it would be closer to our home base.
It can be. Homes high on the foothills and the upper Avenues sometimes sit above the worst of the winter inversion, while homes on the valley floor sit down in the trapped air. We can talk through filtration that fits where your home actually sits.
